1. Before creating a Local Business Schema profile, configure global plugin settings:

2. • Google Maps Settings: Required for Business Location Address, Google Maps, and Store Locator features.
     • Google Maps API Key:
       • Required to display interactive Google Maps and Store Locators.
       • Obtain your API key from the Google Maps Platform Console.

       • Enable the Google Places API for store locator search autocomplete.
     • Custom Marker Icon:
       • Upload a custom map pin image to replace Google’s default red map marker.
   • Multiple Locations Settings: Designed for businesses with multiple store locations.
     • Enable Multiple Locations: Check this option to automatically create a custom post type for managing multiple business locations.
     • Locations Slug: The URL slug structure for individual location pages (default is locations, e.g., https://example.com/locations/mountain-view).
     • Locations Label - Singular: The singular admin label (default: Location).
     • Locations Label - Plural: The plural admin label (default: Locations).
   • Global Defaults: Set default business hours applied across locations.
     • Opening Hours: A repeater list specifying opening and closing times for each day of the week (Monday through Sunday in 24-hour format).

Activate & Setup Local Business Schema Profile

1. Go to WordPress Admin > SEO Schema.

2. Click the Local Business tab in the sidebar navigation.

3. Click Add Local Business.

4. Enter a descriptive name for your schema profile (e.g., “Store Locations Schema”) in the popup modal, then click Save.

Include and Exclude Rules for Local Business Schema

Add Location Data to Post Meta Box

1. Edit any page in WordPress admin included in your Local Business Schema configuration (e.g., an individual Locations entry).

2. Scroll below the main content editor to locate the Local Business Schema meta box.

3. Fill in the physical address, phone, opening hours, and geo coordinate fields.

4. Once all location details are entered, save your post.
